Bunker Agent at Aracon · Prize competition

1. The promoter

The promoter is [BUNKER AGENT LEGAL ENTITY NAME], a company registered in [England and Wales] under number [COMPANY NUMBER], whose registered office is at [REGISTERED ADDRESS] ("Bunker Agent", "we", "us").

2. Who can enter

  1. The competition is open to registered attendees of Aracon aged 18 or over, entering in a professional capacity.
  2. Employees of Bunker Agent and their immediate families may not enter.
  3. One entry per person. Where someone enters more than once, only their first entry counts.
  4. Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.

3. How to enter

  1. Enter at the Bunker Agent stand on our iPad, or on your own device using the QR code on the stand, between [OPENING DATE AND TIME] and [CLOSING DATE AND TIME] (the "entry period").
  2. Give your name, work email and, optionally, your job title, company and phone number, either by scanning your business card or by typing them in.
  3. Answer the question: "How could AI improve bunkering, or what is your biggest headache in bunkering?" in no more than 200 characters.
  4. Entries must be your own words and must not be offensive, defamatory or unlawful. We may exclude any entry that is.

4. The prize

One LEGO Maersk dual-fuel container vessel set. There is one prize. It is not transferable and there is no cash alternative. If the prize becomes unavailable, we may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

5. How the winner is chosen

  1. This is a competition judged on merit, not a random draw.
  2. After the entry period closes, every entry is first scored by Bunker Agent's AI assistant against three published criteria: the quality and insight of the answer (40%), the entrant's role and seniority (30%), and how closely the entrant's organisation fits the businesses Bunker Agent serves (30%). The AI produces a ranked shortlist with its reasons.
  3. A Bunker Agent employee then reviews the shortlist and chooses the winner. Their decision is final.

6. Announcing and claiming the prize

  1. We will announce the winner at [DAY, TIME] at our stand and notify them by email within [5] working days.
  2. If the winner does not respond within [14] days of being notified, we may choose another winner from the shortlist.
  3. We will arrange delivery of the prize to an address in [the UK / the EEA] at no cost to the winner, or the winner may collect it from the stand.
  4. With the winner's agreement, we may publish their name, company and answer. On request we will make available the winner's surname and county as required by the CAP Code.

7. Your data

  1. We use your details to run the competition: to judge your entry, to show you Bunker Agent's reply on screen and send you a copy by email, and to contact you if you win. A photo of your business card is used only to read your details and is not stored by us.
  2. If you ticked "I would like a demo", we will contact you to arrange one. If you ticked "Keep me updated", we will send you occasional news about Bunker Agent; you can unsubscribe at any time. We will not contact you for marketing otherwise.
  3. Answers are processed by our AI provider, Anthropic, on our behalf. Data is stored on Google Cloud in [the UK / EU].
  4. We keep entries for [12] months after the competition closes, except where you have asked to hear from us. See our privacy policy for your rights and how to contact us.

8. General

  1. We may cancel or change the competition if events outside our reasonable control require it.
  2. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
  3. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
